ESL is 100% compliant with the Accord on Fire, Electrical & Building Safety in Bangladesh.

ESL is 100% compliant with Alliance for Bangladesh Worker Safety which deals with Building, Electrical & Fire Safety.

ESL is an ISO 14001 certified factory. ISO 14001 sets out the criteria for an effective environmental management system. It can provide assurance to company management and employees as well as external stakeholders that environmental impact is being measured and improved.

ESL is ECC certified. ECC (Environmental Clearance Certificate) is awarded by the DOE (Department of Environment) of Bangladesh for meeting all the criteria to maintain good water, air & noise quality both inside & outside the premises. ESL is BSCI certified. The amfori BSCI (Business Social Compliance Initiative) is an industry-driven movement that aims to monitor and assess workplace standards across the global supply chain ensuring that workers are treated ethically and legally.

ESL is SEDEX certified. SMETA (Sedex Members Ethical Trade Audit) is the most widely used social audits in the world. SMETA is Sedex’s social auditing methodology, enabling businesses to assess their sites and suppliers to understand working conditions in their supply chain.

ESL is WCA certified & received an Achievement Award. The WCA (Workplace Conditions Assessment) program provides a powerful, cost-effective solution for companies and facilities seeking to improve workplace conditions efficiently and in accordance with widely accepted industry standards and best practices.

ESL is enlisted with the Higg Index. The Higg Index is an apparel industry self-assessment standard for assessing environmental and social sustainability throughout the supply chain.

ESL is ICS certified. ICS (Initiative for Compliance & Sustainability) is an international sectoral initiative with the aim to enhance working conditions along global supply chains of its member retailers and brands

ESL is GOTS Certified. GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) defines the requirements that ensure the organic status of textiles from harvesting of the raw materials through environmentally and socially responsible manufacturing all the way to labelling in order to provide credible assurance to the consumer. The GOTS certificate enables manufacturers to supply their organic textiles with one certification accepted in all major markets. The GOTS logo and labelling system is visible in large-scale retailers and brand dealers. This is a milestone in consumer recognition and a strong acknowledgement of our reliable quality assurance concept

ESL is Oeko-tex certified. STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX® is the world’s best-known label for textiles tested for harmful substances. It stands for customer confidence and high product safety. If a product is labeled as Oeko-Tex certified – it is completely free from harmful chemicals and safe for human use. To attain Oeko-Tex Standard 100 certification, the fabric has been tested and certified to be free from unsafe levels of more than 100 substances known to be harmful to human health.

BCI exists to make global cotton production better for the people who produce it, better for the environment it grows in and better for the sector’s future.
